Dr. Sheila Kilbane’s passions in life revolve around her family and friends. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her out to dinner with friends, playing with her nieces and nephews, chatting at the Farmer’s Market, or standing on her hands at yoga class. She started practicing yoga in medical school almost 10 years ago and has been hooked ever since. She also loves to travel, at times to do medical work and at other times for fun. Some of her more interesting trips have been to India, Honduras, and Russia with Patch Adams. Each trip has been a unique and life changing experience and she brings this cultural sensitivity and humor to each patient she treats.

Dr. Will Lane’s passions in life revolve around his family and love of swimming. He lives just outside Charlotte with his wife, 3 young boys, one very old Labrador and 2 kittens. When Dr. Lane is not at the office, you will most likely find him taking in the lovely aroma of chlorine at the pool. He has been a competitive swimmer his entire life and now competes, along with his wife, at a national level as a Master’s Swimmer. His oldest son has taken to the sport as well and is improving so quickly that Dr. Lane feels he must stay in good shape to hold him off. Other hobbies include scuba diving with Great White Sharks (minus the sharks), listening to country music, Tai Chi, and being an avid sports fan to teams such as the Charlotte Bobcats, Duke Basketball, the Panthers, and Notre Dame football.

Dr. Kathleen Russo is the 2007-08 President of the Medical Staff at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She also serves as Medical Director of the Rowan County Child Advocacy Center.

Dr. Russo has studied Integative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona School of Medicine. In addition to pediatric care, she provides specialized care in wellness, nutrition, and combines alternative medicine with traditional medicine.

Dr. Russo travels to Africa every year to support a mother-to-child HIV prevention program she started in Zambia in 2002. She lives in Salisbury with her husband, Rip, and two children.

Dr. Magryta has spent his life playing soccer, listening to music and generally running anywhere he happens to be. For the last 13 years he has had the pleasure of loving his wife and best friend. They share two monkeys named Thomas and Isabella, ages 6 and 4 respectively. You can generally find him dribbling a little round ball on some grass pitch somewhere every weekend. He is praying that his children carry the torch of the world’s game so that he can live vicariously through them.

Recently, he has begun to teach and write articles for local newspapers including the Salisbury Post and The Weekly Herald. He has a great passion for school nutrition programs and the world of allergy and immunity. The future will bring lectures, articles and a book for mothers.
